By using formatpaperback.com you agree to these terms. The free tools are provided as is; a $9 purchase unlocks the fixed files for one book.

The service

FormatPaperback checks paperback interior PDFs against Amazon KDP’s published print requirements, can rescale pages to fit KDP’s margins and trim sizes, and builds full-wrap covers. All processing runs in your browser. We are not affiliated with Amazon; KDP’s own previewer and review decide whether a book is accepted.

Your content

You keep all rights to your manuscript and artwork, and you confirm you have the right to use them. Because files never reach our servers, we don’t store, view or reuse them.

Purchases

One purchase covers one book: the PDF you checked (identified by its fingerprint) and the cover made for it, re-downloadable in the same browser for 30 days. Prices are in US dollars and include no subscription. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Limits

The fix moves and scales whole pages; it does not reflow text, edit content, check image resolution or support bleed interiors yet. Always review the fixed file and KDP’s previewer before publishing. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the book in question.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the service to process material you have no right to publish, or try to bypass the payment step.
